By using the Service you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

In The Light is a platform for discovering and sharing Christian events. It helps visitors find events and lets organisers publish and promote their events. We provide the platform; we do not organise, host, or run the events listed on it.

To list events you must register as an organiser. You agree to provide accurate, current information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms.

If you list an event, you are solely responsible for the content you publish, including its accuracy and keeping it up to date. You must have all rights necessary to post that content, and it must not be false, misleading, or infringe anyone else's rights. We may edit, reject, or remove any content at our discretion, but we are not obliged to monitor or verify listings.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as event descriptions and images). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and promote that content for the purpose of operating and marketing the Service. This licence ends when you remove the content or close your account, except for reasonable backup copies and where it has already been shared with others.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or organisation or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Upload malware, spam, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its data.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service except as expressly permitted.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Rowpe LTD or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for content you submit, you may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our permission.

We are a listings platform only. We do not organise, host, endorse, or guarantee any event listed on the Service, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of listings or for what happens at any event. Any arrangements you make in connection with an event are solely between you and the relevant organiser, and you attend events at your own risk. Please verify event details directly with the organiser before attending or making any payment.

The Service relies on and links to third-party services (for example, Google Firebase, Web3Forms, and Google Maps) and may link to external organiser or event websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably consider it necessary. You may stop using the Service at any time. Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as licence, disclaimers, liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
